Journal Prompts 5/18

Hello BGC members! Have you ever had a diary or a journal? Keeping a journal and writing in it often can help you process, or think about, feelings and things that have happened when you write them down. A journal can also be like a time capsule; You can go back to entries you've written a long time ago, and see what you were doing or feeling that day. You can turn a journal into an art project too. There are endless possibilities, like decorating the cover, adding pictures to your entries, or even just drawing!

I encourage you all to try it out, and starting today I will be sharing weekly prompts and ideas to help you get started! You can share your responses online, or you can just use them at home for your journal.

Today's Prompts:

  • If you could visit your future self for one day, what would you ask them? Is there anything you would tell them?

  • Tell a story about something funny that has happened to you.

  • If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? What would your superhero name be? Draw a picture!

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!
