Happy summer everyone!
I hope you all are doing great! This week’s origami tutorial is for all the cat lovers! Don’t worry dog lovers, the origami dog tutorial is coming soon :) This simple project can make a great bookmark or decoration. You also get to color!
You are going to need a square piece of paper, it can be any size.
*Ask your parents for help before using the scissors!*
The bigger your paper is, the bigger your cat will be. You are also going to need markers, crayons, or colored pencils to color your cat at the end.
Step 1:
Tilt your paper on its side.
Step 2:
Fold the bottom corner up to the top corner.
Step 3:
Fold the left corner over to the right corner. Unfold so you're left with a crease.
Step 4:
Fold the two bottom corners up from the crease you just made. The corners should overlap the sides of the triangle.
Step 5:
Fold the top corner down to create a small triangle at the top. Then flip the paper over.
Step 6:
The final step is to draw on the face of your cat and color it! You may color it however you want. Be creative!
