What Do You Do When You Are Nervous?

Nervous feelings are normal when we are facing something new or challenging. Feeling nervous alerts our body's "get ready" signal. Instead of running from our nervous feelings, we want to learn how to face those feelings.
One way to help the feeling is to do the work needed to prepare yourself for the new challenge. This could be studying hard for a test, practicing hard as you get ready for a meet or knowing the pitfalls that could occur.
